The Friends of Jesus Ministries is devoted to discovering "Freedom in Christ" by revealing the fullness of Christ to all believers and promoting the unity of the body in fellowship.
We believe the "church" is made up of the called out believers who have fallen in love with Jesus Christ. They without question do their best to keep the two great commandments fulfilled by the Lord Jesus.
(Matthew 22:37-40) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. (KJV)
It is by these commandments that every true believer uses to walk in Christ. There can be no other law, tradition, dogma, or by-law that supercedes this simple teaching. Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of all the law.
Each and every believer needs a strong foundation and that foundation is Jesus Christ. It is upon this foundation we are built up into a Christian who will be effective for the kingdom of heaven. Many fail to recognize our life is hidden in Christ. As the Lord reveals himself to us we are now exposed to a spiritual warfare. It is through these everyday trials we are shaped and molded into the image of Christ.
(Ephesians 4:14) That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; (KJV)
